"Aftermath Premium", "the Service", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Aftermath Premium and its operators.
"User", "you", or "your" refers to any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Service.
"Software" refers to the Aftermath Premium web app, the desktop applications for macOS and Windows, and any associated web services, APIs, or deliverables provided under these Terms.
"Scan" refers to one file you submit for processing. "Output" refers to the repaired model the Service returns.
The name Aftermath Premium is a trademark of its operators. All rights in the name, logo, branding, visual design, underlying algorithms, processing pipeline, and software architecture are owned exclusively by Aftermath Premium and its operators. No license to use any of these assets is granted beyond what is strictly necessary to use the Service as intended.
You may not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code or methodology of the Service. You may not create competing products or services based on, inspired by, or derived from Aftermath Premium's technology, workflow, or user experience without explicit written permission.
Any unauthorized use of the Aftermath Premium name, including in domain names, app names, marketing materials, or similar contexts, may constitute trademark infringement and will be pursued to the full extent of the law.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and your active paid plan (where applicable), Aftermath Premium grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the web app and to install and use the desktop Software on devices you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business use.

You can use the Service with a monthly or yearly subscription, or by buying single scans. Subscription fees are charged in advance at the start of each billing period. By starting a subscription you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for each period until you cancel.
Prices are subject to change. We will notify you in advance of any price changes. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Model guarantee. The one exception: if a finished model has a problem, report it with the "Something's wrong with this model" button within 2 hours of the run, while we still have your files. We will look into it. If we can't make it right, we will give the scan back to your account or refund what you paid for it.
Because a run that fails does not count as a scan, you are never charged a scan for a failed run. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 7 days via our support page. We will investigate and, at our sole discretion, determine whether a correction is warranted.
The Service rebuilds what your scanner captured and completes what it missed. The quality of an Output depends on the quality of the scan you submit. A clean, complete scan produces an Output close to the real object. Where the scan is sparse, noisy, or missing whole surfaces, the Service completes the shape in a reasonable way, but it cannot recover detail that was never captured. Reference photos improve the result but do not replace scan data.
Outputs are approximations of physical objects, not certified measurements. Dimensions, tolerances, and fine features may differ from the original. Try the free sample scans or your free scan to see what to expect from your own scanner before you buy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Aftermath Premium does not warrant that:
You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and suitability of any Output before use. Aftermath Premium is a productivity tool and does not replace professional engineering review.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AFTERMATH PREMIUM AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
In no event shall Aftermath Premium's total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you paid to Aftermath Premium in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You keep all rights to the scans, photos, and Outputs that belong to you. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and analyze your files only to provide the Service to you, and, if you choose to, to improve it as described below. We do not use your files for any other purpose and do not sell or share them except with the service providers listed in Section 11, who process them on our behalf.
You must have the right to scan, process, and reproduce any object you submit. You are responsible for making sure your use of an Output respects the intellectual property rights of others.
Your scan, photos and Output are kept for up to 2 hours after processing, so you can download the Output and report a problem with it, then deleted. Download your Output promptly; we cannot recover it after it is deleted.
If you report a problem with a model, we keep that run's scan, photos and Output until the report is closed, use them only to look into it, and then delete them.
When you create an account, or later in your account settings, you can let us keep your scans to improve Aftermath. It is off unless you turn it on. If you do:
If you leave it off, nothing changes: your files are deleted as described above.

The inclusion of these libraries does not grant you any rights beyond those described in these Terms. A copy of the LGPL-3.0 license is available at https://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl-3.0.html.
We collect only what we need to provide the Service: your username, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash); your plan and scan usage; your uploaded files for the time described in Section 9; whether you let us keep your scans to improve the Service; and, for the free scan, a one-way hash of your phone number, not the number itself. We do not sell your personal data.
We use these service providers to run the Service:
If you use the desktop app without an internet connection, your scan is processed on your own computer and reference photo checking is turned off.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, are found to be abusing the Service, or are associated with fraudulent activity.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the Software immediately ceases. No refund will be issued upon termination for cause.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by sending a notification to the email address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Service after any change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
